Frequently Asked Questions

All plant materials, including products from our florist, are Final Sale.

Our trees and shrubs come with a one-year warranty from the purchase date. If a plant purchased at the garden centre dies within the period of a year, a replacement or store credit will be provided. The warranty applies only to trees and shrubs that are planted in the ground. Plants grown in containers are not under warranty.

Our rose bushes and cedars are under warranty until December 15th of the year of purchase. If a plant purchased at the garden centre dies within this period, a replacement or store credit will be provided. Plants grown in containers are not under warranty.

To redeem a warranty for a tree, shrub, rose bush, or cedar, the plant must be brought in along with the original receipt.

Nematodes are Final Sale.

Snoozies slippers are Final Sale.

Any item purchased at a discounted price from the original price is Final Sale.

All other materials can be returned within 14 DAYS, provided that the product is unopened, in good condition, and is accompanied by a receipt.

We offer a local delivery service. The delivery fee is calculated at our check-out online and in-store. The delivery charge is based on proximity to our Garden Centre and the size of the order.

For online orders, once your order is received, a delivery date will be sent out via email.

We offer an installation service out of the Garden Centre. This includes annual gardenscapes, perennial plantings, sod installation, and much more. Our skilled installation and planting team are able to help you transform your garden into a living oasis. We also have the capacity to do full landscaping jobs, concrete work, and other hard scaping projects.

Pricing varies depending on the type and complexity of the project.

Please be aware that our teams are booked quickly for planting and installation jobs during our spring busy season. The earlier you can book, the better we are able to accommodate your planting and installation needs.

Currently we do not do residential maintenance, however we do service a multitude of commercial buildings in the GTA. If you are looking for commercial maintenance, please contact our head office at 416-231-6230.

Though Islington Nurseries is an animal friendly environment, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any animal that risks damaging our store or causing disruption to other guests. All animals must be leashed at all times.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Debit, and Cash payments.

We also offer credit to contractors pending a credit application process and approval by our head office. Please contact our head office at 416-231-6230 to set up an account with Islington Nurseries.
